Privacy Policy

Retire Ready™ is an educational retirement readiness tool designed to help individuals better understand their retirement picture. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

By using Retire Ready, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Checkup inputs. When you use the free checkup, we may collect planning inputs you enter — such as your age, retirement timing, estimated savings, Social Security assumptions, and estimated monthly spending. This information is used to generate your results.

Email address. If you sign up for the Retirement Note newsletter or create an account, we collect your email address.

Payment information. If you purchase a paid report, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your billing name, email, card number, and other details needed to complete your transaction. Retire Ready does not store your full card number.

Browser storage. Some information may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage) to generate your report and preserve your access after purchase. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you take an action that submits it (such as completing a checkout).

Usage data. We may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, referring URL, and pages visited, to help improve the product. This data does not identify you personally.

We use the information you provide to generate your Retire Ready Snapshot and Clarity Report, process your payment and deliver report access, send you the Retirement Note newsletter if you subscribe, respond to support and refund requests, and improve the product experience over time.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments securely. Your payment information is handled according to Stripe's Privacy Policy and PCI-DSS standards. You can review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Resend. We use Resend to deliver transactional and newsletter emails. Your email address may be processed by Resend when we send you a message.

Supabase. If you create an account, your account data may be stored in Supabase, a database infrastructure provider.

We retain account and purchase information for as long as needed to provide the service and fulfill legal obligations. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@myretirereadyreport.com.

You may unsubscribe from the Retirement Note at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@myretirereadyreport.com.

Retire Ready primarily uses browser localStorage rather than cookies. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Stripe and other third-party providers may set cookies as part of their own services, subject to their own policies.

Retire Ready is designed for adults who are planning for retirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Retire Ready after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
